Album Info:
The TXOR owns & operates the line from Shaufler, Tx. to Maryneal, Tx. ( 17 miles ) & crosses approximately 5 miles of BNSF track to interchange at the Sweetwater Yard. In the mid-90's, TXOR abandoned 156 miles of the North Orient Rail Line from the Oklahoma-Texas border to Orient Junction, Tx. near Sweetwater. The line once served small, agricultural communities. Today, TXOR's primary commodities hauled are cement & coal.
