Title:  Derailment!!!!!!!
Description:  This derailment was the result of a driver in a loaded dump truck failing to yield the right-of-way to the train which was traveling east toward Oklahoma City at 49mph. The driver of the dump truck was fatally wounded and the train crew was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Description:  But important to the railroad nonetheless. This grain elevator at Yukon OK once was served by the Rock Island; happily, this part of the Choctaw Route was still seeing local service from UP the day we were there. Out here in granger country, grain shipments were a big part of the railroad scene. This elevator is well preserved, with good signage, making it an attractive photographic subject.
