Title:  DH RS3 4071 - Delaware & Hudson
Description:  Built by Alco in August of 1952, the road switcher lasted until retirement in January of 1978. It was leased to the Providence & Worcester RR as their #161. Not sure the date is accurate for this slide as the unit was repainted in PW gray, orange and white scheme around 1973. The color scheme remained at least until 1981. Description:  If you had said, in 1980, that the NYSW would be running high horsepower diesels on the D&H, and theyd be tied to SOO units, theyd have called the funny farm to come get you. In 1990, there it was. BUAB with one of the odder power sets any of us had seen, rolls under the signal gantry at Afton with an Albany bound grain train.
