Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-4-2 Class P-1 2500, date, location, and photographer unknown, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 2500 was built by Baldwin in 1899 (c/n 16547) as number 1591, a Class P-1-C (compound) 4-4-2, renumbered to 2500 in 1904, rebuilt in 1913 to simple expansion and reclassed P-1, retired in January 1933.
