Blackhawk. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken in Chicago, Illinois, on 21 July 1969. Photo Caption: "FM H10-44, Pennsylvania #8259. Chicago, Illinois. 7-21-69." Penn Central #8259 is an H10-44 built by Fairbanks-Morse as Pennsylvania Railroad number "9096" in October of 1949, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and renumbered "8259" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Fairbanks-Morse and Lima Diesels ~ Eastern and Canadian Roads" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (902-02).
