Built as road number 8416 in January 1966 (c/n 31497) on EMD Order 7861, it was rebuilt during August 1980 as SD40R 7314, retired from the UP August 6, 2002 without receiving a UP number, later became GECX 7314, and later still became HLCX 6336.
