Description:  Here is the 29th of 33 color prints of calendar art works that were commissioned by the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1925 through 1958. Shown here is Grif Teller's painting entitled "Pittsburgh Promotes Progress." It was published originally in 1954. Depicted here (L to R) is PRR engine #5887 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5887 was constructed in April of 1950.

It was published originally on the May 1964 issue of "Trains" magazine. Partially visible at the left is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5887, an EP-22 built by GM-EMD in April of 1950 and rated at 2,250 horsepower.
