Description:
This mighty steam locomotive was the product of the Lima Locomotive Works in 1949. Although a class M-1, this class was affectionately known as the "Big Emmas". Although powerful and smooth running, they were scrapped a relatively short time later in 1956-57. This loco met the scrapper's torch in January of 1957. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
